At the National Library of Australia in Canberra, Bianco Cattani® marble becomes both institutional material and symbolic presence: a luminous skin capable of updating classical language with a contemporary expression.

For this restoration project, rigorous control was required, with testing carried out on every single marble block destined for the external cladding – yielding extremely positive results thanks to the unique physical and mechanical properties of our material.

The choice arose from a concrete need: the marble previously used showed advanced deterioration, making it necessary to select a product suitable for long-term exposure to the elements.

Over 5,000 sqm of Bianco Cattani were supplied for the interventions and future developments. An architectural skin conceived to endure and represent, ensuring chromatic uniformity and consistent quality.

A marble of eternal presence.
