Carmi – Carrara and Michelangelo Museum

carmi museo carrara e michelangelo

The renewal of Villa Fabbricotti in Carrara, home to the Carmi Museum, was conceived as a restoration and enhancement project for the historic 19th-century villa and Padula Park.

The renovation, carried out by our construction company San Colombano Costruzioni SPA, transforms the building into a museum complex arranged over three levels, designed to host on the piano nobile the permanent exhibition dedicated to the genius of Michelangelo.

Within this context, stone becomes language: Marmi Minucciano supplied a new polychrome geometric floor in Bianco Cattani® and Nero Cattani®, creating an elegant, rigorous rhythm that gives strong identity to the spaces.

A balance between memory and contemporaneity, where every element is measured and enduring.

Tradition renewed, through the strength of matter.
